About Accommodations and Rooms

Q. Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A. There are 28 non-smoking rooms in Chosuikaku: 14 Japanese rooms (8 tatami mats, around 14.5m2) on the 6th floor and 14 Western rooms (twin rooms) on the 7th floor.
Q. Do you offer internet service in the guest rooms?
A. Wireless LAN connection is available in all rooms.
Computers with the high-power wireless LAN devices can be connected directly.
We lend wire connection adapter devices as well. (High power)
We have 2 computers connected to internet in front of the restaurant “Sisley” on the first floor. Please feel free to use them.
Q. Do you have barrier-free (universal design) rooms?
A. We are very sorry, but we do not have completely barrier free rooms. Though we do have some Japanese-Western rooms with flat floors from the hall to bedrooms, there are some level differences in the Japanese room, bathroom and washroom. Please ask for details.
Q. Do you have rooms with an open air bath?
A. We are very sorry, but we do not have rooms with an open air bath though there are rooms with a cypress bath where you can enjoy the view out of the window. You can see beautiful stars on fine days. In Hienkaku, the new building, room 922 and 1022 (Japanese suites) have bathrooms facing south, and room 924 and 1024 (Japanese-Western suites) have ones facing the mountain.
Q. Do you accept credit cards?
A. Yes, we accept MasterCard, VISA, JCB, UC, Diners Card, American Express Card, NICOS, Million Card, DC Card, etc.
Q. Do you have Western rooms?
A. We have 14 Western rooms all of which are non-smoking and can accommodate up to 3 guests.

About Meals

Q. What is the Restaurant “Sekirei” like?
A. It is a restaurant basically for FIT guests. They have low tables over a hole in the floor (horigotatsu) that allow you to sit on the floor with your legs relaxed while enjoying meals. It’s on the 3rd floor of Hienkaku. You can see Mukagawa River from some seats. If you’d like them, please ask when you make a reservation.
Q. Is there an izakaya that serves ramen?
A. There is an izakaya called Japanese Restaurant “Tancho” on the 1st floor of Seisankaku Daini. The izakaya serves snacks including delicious ramen, buta-don (pork bowl), fried chicken, crispy chicken skin dumplings and so on.
Q. Do you have menus for allergic people?
A. We will prepare dinner to meet your request. Please ask when making a reservation.
Q. Is it possible to use the breakfast buffet only?
A. Yes, this costs ¥1,800 for persons aged 13 and over, and ¥900 for persons aged 6-12 (both prices include tax). Reservations can be made by phone.

About Facilities

Q. Can I use internet in the hotel?
A. There are 2 computers connected to internet which you can use for free in front of the coffee shop “Sisley”. Please note that they may be occupied. If you have a computer with wireless LAN, you can use Free WIFI Spot in the lobby on the 1st floor. Please ask at the front desk for the password and how to use it.
Q. What is “Kodawari Bazar” ?
A. You will find “Kodawari Bazar” on the way to the breakfast venue. It is open only in the morning time, and sells wood crafts and foods including seafood and agricultural products of Okhotsk area, snacks that go with alcohol and so on. They have variety of souvenir only from this area. It is open from 6:00am to 10:00am.
Q. Do you have a parking lot?
A. Yes, we have a free parking lot for the guests staying with us. The capacity is 150 cars.
Q. Can we borrow a wheel chair?
A. Yes. We have 4 wheel chairs. Please ask us upon making a reservation.
Q. Do you have coin-operated laundry?
A. Yes, we do. There are 2 coin-operated laundries in each men’s and women’s public bath. It is 200 yen to wash and 100 yen to dry.
Q. Do you have massage service?
A. You can have “sole massages” in the lounge at the public bath area, and “whole body massages” by an acupuncturist in your room.
Q. What kind of things can we rent in your hotel?
A. We rent the following items:

Q. Do you have day-trip bath plans?
A. Yes, we do.

A. Yes, we have one which is open from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.
The bathing fee for guests is ¥2,160 (tax included) for 1 hour, ¥3,240 (tax included) for 2 hours. Day-trip bathing is available from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and costs ¥3,240 per hour (tax included).

About Children

Q. Do you have YUKATA for children?
A. We have 7 different sizes of yukatas for children. If the yukata in your room is too big/small for your child, please contact the front desk.
- 3 years old , 5 years old – 70cm, 6 years old – 80cm, 7 years old – 90cm, 8 years old -100cm, Child size (large) – 110cm, Extra Small (for adults) – 120cm

About Pets

Q. Can I stay with my pet?
A. We accept only small dogs, and 2 dogs at most can stay in one room. Entrance fee for one dog is ¥2,160. Please make sure to keep your dog in a cage in the hotel outside your room, and be careful not to let your dog bark unnecessarily.
Q. Do you have pet goods?
A. We have some snack and goods for dogs in the souvenir shop on the 1st floor. Why don’t you get them for your friends or your dog waiting for you at home?
Q. Do you have a dog run area?
A. There is a dog run area called “Jack Field” within a 3-minute walk from Oehonke. It is open from late April to late October, from 9:30am to sunset. The usual fee is ¥500 (tax included) for one dog. If you stay at our hotel, it is discounted to ¥300, and there’s no charge for owners (up to 2 people). Why don’t you have a fun time with your dog there?

Around the Hotel

Q. What sightseeing spots are there around Oehonke?
A. There is a Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) called “Onneyu Onsen” about 1km away from our hotel. Next to it is “Kamurin no Yakata”. It has “Kamurin Shop”, a souvenir shop, “Kamurin World” where you can enjoy closeness with wood, and “Craft Studio” where you can enjoy wood craft easily. The symbol tower “Kamurin” is the world biggest cuckoo clock that is 20m tall. The automaton clock works from late April to early November. There is “Kita No Daichi No Aquarium” next to “Kamurin no Yakata” that exhibits around 3000 fish of 50 kinds including freshwater fish living in Hokkaido. Also there is an all-year-open “Kitakitsune (Ezo Red Fox) Farm” nearby.
Q. Is there a convenience store near the hotel?
A. There is a Seven Eleven about a 5-minute walk from our hotel.
Q. Is there anywhere I can go for a walk or jog around your hotel?
A. Yes. Tsutsuji (azalea) Park and the Michi-no-Eki are 5-to-10-minute walk from the hotel which are good for walking. If you’d like to go jogging, the road on the left bank of Mukagawa River (that leads to a golf course) is nice with few traffic signals and little traffic volume. The view is very beautiful, too.
